Dear Dr. Selena Emmett,

This is to inform you that I have accepted a position of Cardiology Surgeon in Royal North Shore Hospital. Therefore I would like offer my resignation dated 1st September, 2011.

I want to thank you and all the staff of Health Care Center for all your support and help .I have enjoyed a lot while working here as a senior doctor for past five years. My experience with the hospital had been very rewarding. I appreciate having the opportunity to work with one of the finest hospitals of the city. This was not an easy decision for me and I have taken this decision after a lot of discussion with my family and friends. Job at Royal North Shore Hospital is like a ladder for my career and I have taken up a position of head of Cardiology department in the hospital. I hope this position helps me in improving my skills and will have more challenges to increase my knowledge and experience.

I wish the hospital success from the core of my heart and thank one and all for allowing me to be the part of the team.

I understand that as per the policy I have to serve notice period but I have time less than one month so if possible I would like to join the hospital as soon as possible. Please let me know if this is possible and help me have a smooth transition.

Thank you all for your help during my employment and best wishes for the future.

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Sapphire Dexter
